University of Dallas: 50 Years of Vision & Courage

FigDesign worked with Sybil Novinski, University historian and archivist, to assemble a history that is both informative and entertaining. The book design project included layout, revisions and print supervision.

The perfect bound publication is over 170 pages in length, and includes appendices detailing departments, faculty appointments, teams and events.

Hundreds of photographs chronicle the first fifty years, documenting the vision and growth that has characterized the institution.

A portfolio site for a firm specializing in cultural, institutional and religious projects. Flash galleries allow slideshow presentations.

A minimal header maximizes vertical space, positioning content toward the top of the browser window.

FigDesign also created their corporate symbol.

The arrow escapes the box: a visual metaphor for this accounting firm that specializes in bankruptcy, litigation and business advisory services.

Working with The TransSynergy Group, FigDesign produced a corporate brochure explaining their value proposition with concise diagrams. Strong use of red, the “no-no” color for accountants, helps communicate what the company delivers for clients. As the pages are turned, the “red ink” area at the bottom of the page — filled with negative business terms like insolvency and stagnation — gradually decreases in size until it ebbs away.
